Teachers and academics can submit written text or upload PDF documents to receive an instant analysis showing the likelihood that content was written by a human or generated by artificial intelligence, along with plagiarism source matching against online content. GenuText operates on a pay-per-scan model allowing individual educators to purchase scanning credits without requiring institutional contracts. The service is built with privacy at its core — submitted text is processed in real time and never stored on our servers. Only scan scores and metadata are retained to power the user’s scan history. GenuText is developed and operated by a UK-based sole trader and is designed to comply with UK and EU GDPR requirements.
